Mrs. Breedy-Johnson began her career with the New York City Department of Education as a middle school teacher of English Language Arts and Social Studies in the Bronx while pursuing
a law degree from Pace University School of Law. As an attorney, she practiced family, immigration and real estate law. Her true passion is working with children to help them realize their full potential so that they can achieve economic and social mobility. After 10 years teaching in the classroom, Mrs. Breedy-Johnson was accepted into the New York City.
Leadership Academy’s Aspiring Principals’ Program. Prior to working at AGL, Mrs. Breedy-Johnson worked as a leadership coach for Urban Assembly schools throughout the city. Mrs.
Breedy-Johnson holds a BA and MS from the University of New Haven, a JD from Pace University School of Law, and a School Building Leadership Certificate from Baruch College.
