Summer School & August Regents Exams

Summer School will be held July 9, 2026 – August 17, 2026 with classes in session Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

During the Summer (until August 17, 2026) Alumni Requesting Student Transcripts should email Summer School Secretary Ms. Barbosa at mbarbos@schools.nyc.gov.

During the Summer the Class of 2026 requesting Transcripts should email parent coordinator Mr. Capellan at fcapellan2@schools.nyc.gov.

Enrollment information for September 2026

Students that were accepted through MySchools are already enrolled in The Urban Assembly Academy of Government and Law.

Families that wish to enroll their child in The Urban Assembly Academy of Government and Law that are not on the waitlist must schedule a time with the NYC DOE Family Welcome Center. Through real-world experiences and integrated learning in civic and legal reasoning and technology, we help students grow into leaders for the future.
